The final results are yet be announced, however as of last week Mt Pleasant School was leading the primary school section! Well done to all those who took part!

It was great to see children’s enthusiasm not just to have fun, but to be awesome risk-takers to boot!!
We were lucky enough to get terrific weather for our Tabloid Sports again this year. What a great day, it was wonderful to see such awesome teamwork in action!!
Last year we had 19 students competing at this top level; this year we have 27!! We are so proud of the hard work and effort these young people put in during their events.
This year we made the decision to enter Mt. Pleasant School into the Koru Games, which is a multi-day, multi-sport tournament offered to year 7 & 8 students. There were over 2000 students competing this year across the three days and throughout the 10 different sports on offer.
266 students met at Ferrymead Park on Tuesday to compete in six athletics events
We had the Year 7/ 8 and the Year 5/ 6 Hockey A teams, the Year 7/ 8 and the Year 5/ 6 Netball A teams as well as the Year 7/ 8 Football A team all take part in the competition as they attempted to become the top side across the whole of the wider Canterbury region in their respective codes.
The Mt. Pleasant Heat basketball side took on the top-of-the-table Chisnallwood Wolverines in their first game of the term on Tuesday evening.
Held at Roto Kohatu Reserve on Wednesday 6 July, Will P and Millie E (both from Room12) competed in their fields. Will placed 26th and Millie placed 13th. Congratulations to them both for their top performances! We are proud of you for your Enthusiasm and Commitment to representing our school.
