Principal Appointment Process
As many of you are aware Scott Thelning who has lead our school for the last eight years has won a promotion to Cobham Intermediate beginning Term 3, 2011.
We congratulate Scott on this deserved appointment and over the term will provide a number of opportunities for you all to acknowledge the tremendous contribution he has made to our school.
The process for finding and appointing a new leader for the school is well underway, however we are very aware of the challenging times we live in and how this has impacted on us and may impact on the application process for some.
Moving forward this is a critical appointment and one that we will ensure is done thoroughly.
At this stage the earliest we can expect someone to be able to commence their role is the beginning of Term 4, 2011, but it may not be possible until Term 1, 2012. With this in mind, our current staff will work in acting roles with Heather McQuillan being the Acting Principal.

Appointment made and all notified over the following week
