As many of you will be aware these are being highly debated across schools and throughout the media, and since our last update various groups of Principals and schools, have begun to act further on challenging to their implementation. Needless to say there are interesting times ahead across the country as teachers grapple with a number of issues, least of all additional workloads, while politicians remain intent on seeing their rapid introduction.

At Mt Pleasant School we are continuing with our very effective reporting processes while making modifications to meet the requirements of the new standards. 

If your child is in Years 1, 2 or 3 you will receive their National Standards report close to the date of their birthday. Children with birthdays in January or February will receive their NS reports in March.

All other children ( year 4-8) will get a separate National Standards report sheet along with their end of year report in December.
